Simon and Rob do it again

Simon Penna and Rob Sullivan, both from the Coaching Inn Petanque Club, St Columb Major, have taken top place in the Kernow Easter Egg Shoot doubles competition for the second year running.

They won all six of their games at today's event, held at the Star Inn, St Day, and finished with a points difference of +44. Nine teams took part in the contest.

Three teams had four wins: Andrew Jarvis (Vogue PC) and Pete English (North Inn PC) took second place with a points difference of +26, narrowly ahead of Andy Rose (Rising Sun PC) and Roy Pemberton (Coaching Inn) on +22. Colin 'Boot' Booth (North Inn) and Graeme Kirkham (Tregony PC) took fourth place with +12.
