Coaching Inn ahead after round 2 of summer league

With another big win in their round 2 game Coaching Inn PC currently holds the top spot in the Cornwall summer league.

Playing at home to the visiting North Inn squad, Coaching Inn's Dion Beechey, Roy Pemberton and Rob Sullivan took the first of three timed games 12-7, against North Inn's Bill Kingdon, Colin 'Boot' Booth and Mark Hypponen.

The home side took the second game 8-3, facing Bill, Mark and Dominik Ellwanger, with the third - Tim Coad stepping in in place of Dion - also going to the Coaching Inn with a score of 12-5, this time against Boot, Mark and Dominik.

After two rounds of the league the Coaching Inn is unbeaten with six wins and a points difference of +31. Tregony is in second place with 4 wins (+19), followed by Vogue on 2 wins (-17) and North Inn, yet to score (-33).

In June Coaching Inn is at home to Tregony and North Inn will host the game against Vogue.
